2012 has got off to an exciting start for The Country House Company as Matthew Hallett, a respected property professional joins the team.
With 26 years experience divided between the London and country markets, Matthew specialises in country houses and has developed particular expertise in building plots for twenty first century homes in the country. As a keen sportsman, Matthew has also extended his specialisms to properties with sporting and riparian rights.
“I am thrilled to be joining forces with Sue Crossley and the fantastic team at The Country House Company” said Matthew “The reputation of The Country House Company speaks for itself and has been built upon the shared values I pride myself on of integrity, personal service and attention to detail.”
The Country House Company is an independent and professional agency specialising in the sales, lettings and management of quality country homes, weekend cottages, rural retreats and town houses across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, West Sussex and the South.
“We are delighted Matthew has joined us as a Partner” said Sue Crossley, “Matthew’s experience will be invaluable as we expand as a firm. Our priorities of customer care and an honest relationship with our client’s fit well with Matthew’s ethos.”
The market for The Country House Company has become increasingly London lead and the team are delighted that Matthews experience in the London country markets will allow them to continue to provide a bespoke service, listening to the needs of their growing list of clients.
"I have specialised in country houses since moving out of London twelve years ago" said Matthew. "My priority is high quality, individual service for my clients. We are fortunate to act for some wonderful properties in the loveliest locations. By tailoring each marketing campaign to best suit the client and their property, we are able to provide a truly niche service"
2012 will be a challenging year for The Country House Company with much to look forward to. The market does remain short of a supply of quality country houses and interest rates are at record low levels. However the London market looks set for another exciting year and as Sue Crossley commented “whilst inevitably there will be economic issues to contend with, The Country House Company is excited about the New Year ahead and the thrill of acting for clients and their properties in such wonderful rural counties with great schools and accessibility to London.”
